Foundation purpose<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The non-profit Dr Michael Munkert Foundation was established by the Munkert family in memory of Dr Michael Munkert snr. Dr Munkert placed great emphasis on supporting university and vocational training, particularly in the tax-consultancy and auditing professions. Being involved with \u2018his\u2019 economics and social sciences was always particularly important to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foundation\u2019s main purpose is therefore to support science and research, as well as education and personal development. Its secondary purpose is to selflessly support people dependent on the help of others due to their physical, intellectual or mental condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foundation\u2019s board consists of Dr Michael Munkert (chair)<\/a>, Ms Susanne Munkert-Riedrich (deputy chair)<\/a> and Frau Gertrud Munkert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Foundation work<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The non-profit Dr Michael Munkert Foundation\u2019s work encompasses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Supporting co-operations between business-administration research and practice, particularly by co-financing chairs in this area and supporting the N\u00fcrnberger Steuergespr\u00e4che e. V. association<\/li>
  • Financing\/Recognising academic work in the field of business administration<\/li>
  • Awarding scholarships for particularly talented and worthy students<\/li>
  • Recognising outstanding performances in tax-consultancy examinations<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    <\/div>\n\n\n\n

    The foundation particularly awards annual prizes to support young academics and professionals, and to support teaching and research in tax studies, tax law, accounting and auditing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Tax-clerk Prize is awarded to the best performance in the respective year\u2019s tax-clerk examination run by the Nuremberg Chamber of Tax Consultants, and is worth EUR 500.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Dr Michael Munkert Sponsorship Prize<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    The Dr Michael Munkert Sponsorship Prize is awarded to a chair of the Institute of Finance, Accounting, Controlling & Taxation (FACT) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and is worth EUR 3000. Its purpose is to finance projects in both research and teaching.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Dr Michael Munkert Scholarship<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    The Dr Michael Munkert Scholarship is awarded to students of the Institute of Finance, Accounting, Controlling & Taxation (FACT) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg who have achieved outstanding results, and is worth EUR 1500.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Germany Scholarships<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    The Germany Scholarships supported by the Dr Michael Munkert Foundation are awarded to students of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and are each worth EUR 300 per month.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
